Hike: the 'Symphonic Scamper' @ Rachel Carson Conservation Pk

This scenic saunter is a 4.2mile easy hike that is relatively flat with uneven terrain, albeit an arduous ascent towards the end. Pace: 3mph. The trek feels as if conducted by a symphony-- A playful sonata of opening notes to mark the beginning MYSTICAL MEADOW meander. Then an andante of tranquility traversing a becomingly overgrown woodland wonderland that crosses seasonal rivulets while at times paralleling the harmonious HAWLINGS RIVER, featuring a scherzo at the 'Conductor's Rock'. Eventually the hike crescendos, climaxing with a beguiling BOULDER FORMATION that offers scrambling. An Autumnal amble!
