'Free Thinkers/Foil Hatters' will suit those who are trying to make some sense of and retain their sanity in this mad world.

An opportunity for a casual chat over a beer with other like-minded people who share alternative thoughts and opinions who are generally considered 'left-of-centre' and are looking for a safe location to share their thoughts, ideas and notions.

There's no agenda and no topic that comes up in conversation is off the table.

We'll start at 6:30 p.m - for this part of the evening a meal is mandatory - we can't be taking up space in this often-busy location.

Meals are pub-fare at pub prices and there are imported draught beers.

Hopefully we'll be joined later by people who just want to come for a chat a social slurp and a socialise after about 8:00 p.m. where a meal won't be necessary.

Probably 'over 50's' will benefit most from this chat get-together.

Notes:

While they occasionally have their uses, Mobile Phones are a bit 'non-gratis' at this social get-together, it would be appreciated if they was disabled during this time.

Chats are inclusive - bring someone with you, if you want to - but make sure you RSVP for them.

We don't intend to have 'rules' - but, Meetup events are notorious for 'gunners' so, if you RSVP for this - then come.

Do not no-show.

No-shows, apart from being an insult to attendees can prevent others who might have wanted to come from attending if the table is fully-booked.

They also make us look bad with the venue.

No-shows could be fatal.
