Øyvind Berg on ScalablyTyped: the Javascript ecosystem for Scala.js!

This month we are featuring Øyvind Berg, coming all the way from Oslo, Norway, who is the creative force behind Scalably Typed [ https://scalablytyped.org/docs/readme ].

In my view, Scalably Typed is the missing piece to make Scala a really compelling "full stack" option across both browser- and server- side development.

It can automatically convert a Typescript typed-API definition into a Scala.js facade, and so unlocks the value in https://github.com/DefinitelyTyped/DefinitelyTyped for Scala programmers.

In this session, Øyvind will introduce the tooling and its place in the ecosystem, then do a live demo of strongly-typed Scala dev in the browser. There'll be time for audience questions and general discussion.
