Collaborate to Innovate: introduction to Art of Hosting
Details
Collaborate to Innovate (C2I) is a community taking action on the things we care about.
This month we're hosting a special workshop as part of the lead up to CoCreate Adelaide (http://www.cocreateadl.com) - a full day community event in April that we are partnering to organise. (Info below) In preparation, Richard Harmer is coming from Melbourne to share his experience of the Art of Hosting.
Art of Hosting (http://www.artofhosting.org) is a practice of hosting spaces to realise the collective potential of a group. It's about the experiences and the value of participants - not stand-and-deliver content, like a traditional conference. It encompasses a philosophy, and a set of methodologies and approaches. We draw on Art of Hosting when organising C2I, and it's a competency that can help take this community to the next level.
We're really excited to learn from Richard, and to share our passion for the Art of Hosting. Come
discover philosophies for enabling participants, tapping into collective capacity experience and learn about practices of 'hosting' learn how to grow a practice for ourselves, and create spaces for us to thrive Your event ticket includes a complimentary beverage, snacks and a contribution to our hosts. We believe in chipping in to pay our way - so thank you for contributing. : )
We look forward to collaborating and innovating with you!
Cheers,
John, Wade, Eduardo, Michelle and the rest of the C2I family
