Brookside Gardens is hosting concerts every Wednesday in September. The first group is Son Horizonte.

Son Horizonte, offers a wide range range of Latin jazz, jazz, salsa, bolero and son Cubano; from smooth Latin jazz to high energy salsa; music that you can dance to, or as well sit back and enjoy.

Robbin Kapsalis brings the soul of Chicago’s Southside to life with a voice rooted in blues tradition and shaped by Atlanta’s musical scene. Her powerful vocals blend classic grit with a fresh, modern edge.

Come eat and drink during an Open Mic with talented musicians and amazing Tommy Models band being showcased at 8:30 to rock the room!

The second performer at the fall twilight concert series is Patty Reese.

A fan and critic favorite, Reese has been recognized by the Washington DC Area Music Association with 17 awards including Artist, Songwriter and Album of the Year. Performances include major venues and festivals including supporting international artists—Beth Hart, Greg Allman, Buddy Guy, Aretha Franklin, Little Feat, Ruthie Foster and others.
Songwriting influences include Bob Dylan, Brandi Carlisle and Chris Stapleton. Recognizing her stunning and commanding vocals and a no holds barred approach to performance, Patty has been compared to Aretha Franklin, Tanya Tucker, Adele and Janis Joplin and cites all of them as major inspiration.
