Accent Reduction Program (Introduction)

This is an introduction to the accent reduction program aimed at migrants to Australia with strong accents.

Having a strong accent can be a serious career and business barrier in a country where English is extremely dominant. It can be difficult to find work that suits your qualifications and even then promotion can be nearly impossible.

Often migrants feel forced to accept menial dead-end jobs simply to make ends meet. This is a tragic waste of talent not to mention the mountain of personal frustration experienced.

This program teaches the skills needed to reduce a strong overseas accent.
