Hackduino Newbies - Saturday Arduino Workshop
Details
Hey guys & girls,
We're running another newbie workshop for Arudino enthusiasts. This time, we'll assume you have a very basic understanding of Arduino, the IDE and the various boards and bits. If you've never seen an Arduino before, you can still come, but you'll need to learn things very quickly!
In this workshop we're going to introduce & demonstrate several physical interactions, using a range of sensors & actuators. Things will start to get interesting and I think it's going to be a great afternoon. John Boxall ( http://tronixstuff.wordpress.com/ ) will be facilitating the workshop.
All attendees must bring their own PC / Laptop. We will be providing the following:
Hardware & Components for 10 Groups of 2.
The course is limited to 20 participants. If you miss out on this one, but would would like to attend another Workshop, please email me directly and we'll see what we can do.
The workshop is on Saturday the 10th of November from 3-5PM @ the electron workshop. http://www.electronworkshop.com.au - Please pair up, either prior or on the day, as we'll be providing 10 Packs of hardware for 20 course participants.
**This is not a networking night, show & tell or regular Hackduino event. This event is targeted to those people who have very little & in-some cases no programming experience but who desperately want to begin learning Arduino and playing with the wonderful world of electronics.
** As numbers are limited, please only RSVP if you are planning on attending. As this is a workshop tutorial, please be respectful of others during the workshop. No yelling, personal conversations, hanging out etc... Make sure to also leave the Electron Workshop the way we find it. **
Thanks! We're looking forward to a great afternoon and hope all attendees will greatly benefit from the workshop.
Stay tuned for details regarding the next regular Hackduino Meetup!
Cheers,
