Looking forward to the meetup
A Course in Miracles is a spiritual pathway that teaches how to be free of fear and be more loving and peaceful. Its main teaching is forgiveness as a way of letting go of the past and coming into peace in the present.
It is possible to study by yourself but many find it helpful to come together in a group to motivate and support each other. The meetup is very open, we read spontaneously depending on the themes that arise each week. If you are new or curious about this I encourage you to visit the meetup as we welcome new members.
A Course in Miracles consists of a text, a set of daily lessons, and manual with questions and answers. It is Christian in its wording and shows us the way to remember God by undoing guilt through forgiving others. The Course thus focuses on the healing of relationships and making them holy.
Another important teaching is learning to listen to your inner guide, which the course calls the Holy Spirit. Our inner guidance helps us to remember that we have a choice in the way we react to people and events around us.
A Course in Miracles has many well-known students including Dr. Wayne Dyer, Eckhart Tolle, and Maryanne Williamson and even Jay-Z and Beyonce!
