Trek For Hope was established in 2013 to provide opportunities to families that are struggling to survive in their own communities. As adventurers, trekkers, and photographers, we often noticed that the intense beauty of a community attracted many visitors to villages throughout the world, yet the people in those villages did not have enough money to feed their children.
Each footstep we leave is a legacy and the legacy of Trek For Hope is to provide the basic essentials that a village may not have.
Our Trek For Hope has received coverage on major publications like The Straits Times, U-Weekly, Zaobao, Singapore International Magazine, and What’s Up.
If outdoor adventures and volunteering work are your passion, we invite you to join us in our next Hope Trek!
We also have a Facebook community called The Adventure Village created in 2015 to provide our "Villagers" with updates about charitable work, activities, and it served as a place where those who participated in events could connect and share photos or start discussions.

Get ready for our water adventurous trip – trekking about 1 hour through 5 rivers, fish sanctuary, waterfalls, and end with hot spring. No half-day nonsense. This is a FULL day of fun.📍 Sungai Chiling Waterfall & Kelah Fish Sanctuary
🐟 First stop! Sungai Chiling , is located deep in the forest, about 400 meters in.
The highlight is a stunning three-tiered waterfall, two to three storeys high. The highest tier is half-hidden behind a massive left cliff, not fully visible. Water plunges through a recess into the base, creating a powerful splash and mist. From there, it flows down a slope into a large pool at the foot of the waterfall. On the right cliff, a boulder resembling a Chinese guardian lion (some say it looks like a gorilla) adds a mysterious touch to the atmosphere.
We'll trek about 1 hour through the jungle, crossing clear rivers 5 times (yes, your feet WILL get wet – wear river shoes!).
The water is so clear you can see giant kelah fish (red mahseer) swimming right beside you – they're protected here, so no fishing, just feeding and snapping pics. The water is so clear, perfect for jumping in and cooling down.📍 Batu Bertenggek Waterfall
A quieter, hidden waterfall nearby. Less crowd, more chill and soaking. Great for group photos.📍 KKB Hot Spring
