Parties, dinners, many drink nights, socializing with many new people every week. Also bush walks, art walks, speed dating, travel and wine tours.
It's all about excellent hosts and event organisers being on hand at each event helping you meet others and introduce newbies around the room.

Join us for a HILARIOUS night of comedy!!
Venue: The Bank Hotel (next to Newtown train station)We - the audience - will vote for the comedians at the IMPROV COMEDY CAGEFIGHT that we think are the most hilarious (link to tickets here).
Our favourite comedians will perform a second time, and then we will decide on the winner on the night who will take home the champion title.
Our Meetup table is very easy to find - right by the bar. Please mention to the person at the door that you're here for the meetup!
Food and drink is available all night - the food options are great!
COST: Tickets are $15 online or $20 at the door
LOCATION: The Bank Hotel, Newtown (324 King Street). Entry is via the 'Waywards Entrance' on King Street. We will gather at a table marked 'Meetup' near the bar at 7:00pm.

Come along to this FREE stand up comedy class.
After the class there's food and drinks at the bar. And then at 7:30, there's the Sydney Stand Up Comedy Championships.
This MeetUp has been taking place for just over a year now. We typically get at least 20-30 people coming to the class.
Have a drink during the class and then chill and have food afterwards.
During the class there's a new element of stand up comedy that's taught. There are six classes in total!It's all free and afterwards there's a MeetUp table for us to hang out at.
At 7:30, there's a comedy show - the Sydney Stand Up Comedy Championships. No obligation to stay, but if you'd like to see the show we have $5 off tickets if we use the code Meetup24. Here's a link with the code already applied.

This MeetUp event is great for people who love comedy and having a laugh - all while meeting someone new. The event organiser has been running MeetUp events for over three years.
He came to Sydney about five years ago and found MeetUp a great way to connect with new people and make new mates.
This MeetUp is great for travellers, people living in Sydney who would like to meet new people, and even singles who are looking to make new connections.
Because you're voting on the comedians during the show, there's plenty of options to chat during the show. Plus there's an intermission. The event usually finishes at around 9:15, so you can also keep on hanging out after the show - the venue closes at midnight!
The Bank is one of Newtown's best bars. This event takes place in the exclusive rooftop section of The Bank. There's an outdoor area for smokers, as well as a great selection of food and drinks. Newtown is in Sydney's inner west and is one of the best areas for nightlife in Sydney.
The Bank is conveniently located right next to Newtown station. It's on King Street, which is easily available by bus or car as well. If you're parking, we recommend looking for parks around Australia Street, or behind the Bank around Angel Street.

Each week we get together and see this awesome comedy show in Newtown.
We have a table reserved for us right by the bar. And there's a discount for our group (see below!).
This comedy show is wild and hilarious - all of the comedians make everything up on the spot.
There are usually at least 15 people from MeetUp who come to this event.
If you want to learn some comedy yourself, come along to the free class at 6pm!
During the show, we get to vote on the comedians we like the best. It's a tonne of fun!
