Now is the time to unite the Soul and the World. Now is the time to see the sunlight dancing as one with the shadows.
I love this Rumi quote. It encapsulates our inner longing to infuse the material side of our existence with the Higher Love, Wisdom, and Intuitive Understandings of our Soul.
Of all the help we may receive upon the way, Astrology is one of the most valuable, shining the light of understanding on our quest to know ourselves as Spiritual Beings having an earthly experience. Our quest has always been so: to know ourselves as an earthly personality in service to, and as an expression of, our greater Self, our Soul.
But now there is another layer, another point of growth we feel with a sense of urgency. Yes, we are individuals, wounded, gifted, vulnerable, strong. We are capable of self-interest, catering to our fears, our longings to fill that empty bucket with a hole in it: but equally capable of acts of great selflessness, wisdom, compassion, and sacrifice for the love of other beings.
With the help of astrology and our own inner bravery, we may learn to stand with our feet on the ground and our arms to heaven, in the centre of our own shadow and light. And this is all necessary. But right now, we are learning how to take this even further. We are learning how to be community: how to embrace our unique individuality whilst discovering our connectedness in mind, heart, and soul. Right now, we stand in this special place at the end of our civilization as we have known it. We all, deep within our hearts, know that we must create a better world, a more loving, equal, and inclusive world. Many of us are living with some form of grief, uncertainty, or hope for a better future. And it is bigger than just our personal lives (though it may be manifesting there as well). We truly are living in an end time. What will Pluto in Aquarius bring? What will our own hearts and Souls manifest? To create a different world, we must tell a different story. Firstly, become aware of the stories we are living with. How much has advertising and materialist culture inhabited our brains and set our priorities? How do we step out of the ingrained habits we live by? For me, Mother Earth has whispered to me in the night and the soft light of morning that our healing, planetary healing, requires us to rediscover our deep shamanic connection to the Earth itself. It is rebalance to a more grounded, deeper and more loving reality. Astrology, as part of our story telling, also needs to reconnect with the earth. This is going to become a greater focus with the Astrology Community as we walk on the path together.
A new earth, a better society. It is a task that seems more enormous that we can imagine. But like all tasks, one step at a time. The Astrology Collective, our community, is my first step. In our community we value and support your journey, each of you, as well as the collective. Soul Entanglement: Leleakuhonua, the new outer limit of our solar system

Discovered in 2015, Leleakuhoinua’s orbit is 5 times as long as Sedna, which has been the outer limit of our solar system since it was discovered in 2003. Sedna speaks of our spiritual destiny and all the experiences we have to go through to get to that destiny. And, because the planets become more spiritual the further out we go, Leleakuhonua steps Sedna’s soul consciousness up to become a unified soul-field, where, at the top level, we can see our soul reflected in the other souls in our lives.
The Sabian Symbol for Leleakuhonua's discovery degree, 7 degrees Aries, is A man successfully expressing himself in two realms at once. According to James Burgess this is about “Living both sides of each situation and waking up to life’s inherent polarities and possibilities… which requires us to develop 'reflective self-consciousness'. In other words, we need the ability to notice ourselves as if through somebody else's eyes.”
So Leleakuhonua represents a multidimensional consciousness, and this manifests differently in our lives depending on our current level of consciousness. If we are experiencing it at the unconscious level we might find we are vulnerable to the infectious spread of consciousness crisis, where we read the issues that our friends are having into our own lives and so create them. Or we could find that communication problems in one area of our lives spreads infectiously to the others.
Or we might get caught up in soul entanglement, where we have so many points of contact with one or more other souls in so many areas, that our souls become entangled, and as a result we might be working against ourselves in one area of our lives, as we try and maintain the communication in others.
The planet is named after a flock of migratory Kolea birds from the Hawaiian creation chant. Birds are spirit beings in myth, and the new born Kolea chicks are walking around and feeding within the first day, so they are independent. But the migration is a group effort, with all the birds flying in a V shape to minimise wind drag and all gradually rotating to the front, so that everyone has a turn doing the hard work of leading.
So Leleakuhonua teaches us to be both independent and interdependent as we pursue our big spiritual missions. And, as we develop spiritually, the entanglement of the unconscious level, becomes an uncanny interconnectedness which sustains and supports our spiritual growth. We learn to follow our heart in our divine work and realize that our spiritual growth supports the wider collective growth. At this level, our multi-dimensional consciousness connects us to the joy and love of our soul-mates.
And at the top level, we can develop an expanded spacetime awareness and we learn to trust in the longer journey. We have the tenacity and endurance to undertake a long enterprise or to do something big and important, and over time we may be able to bring about a rebirth of a new social balance. By trusting in our intuition, we find the stamina, patience and diligence to play our part in creating the new Earth

Accessing the Cosmos Within: Experiential Astrology
·OnlineOnlineIn the first hour of this presentation, Daniel will speak to the broad range of practices that make up Experiential Astrology and about its many benefits to both practicing astrologers and clients alike. This will include a demonstration of one of its most accessible practices, the Jungian-based Voice Dialogue. and some time for taking questions.
After a short break, Daniel will take everyone who wishes to participate through a simple experience of Jupiter in the sign of Cancer, followed by time for more questions and sharing. You will be emailed a copy of the Jupiter symbol and the image for Cancer taken from Liz Green's Astrology for Children and will need a small space on the floor to be able to step through the process.
Daniel Sowelu is a therapeutic and experiential astrologer in his 41st year of practice. He is also a therapist and group leader with a core training in Primal Therapy and years of experience with Jungian work, psychodrama, Voice Dialogue and practices from the Shiva Shakti spiritual traditions of India. Out of this eclectic mix he has created a unique body of work as an advocate for the reclamation of the sacred feminine in astrology, and as a global leader in the training of Experiential Astrology through his Australian Institute of Primal Astrology.
