What happens when the dogma of religion faces off with the dogma of medicine? Science based medicine happens!

Join Dr Angela Mattke (MD, FACEP) as she traces the sceptical path through medical history.

Dr Angie is certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine as an Emergency Physician and lives in Atlanta, Georgia. She practised in Atlanta for years, but loves being on the move. Dr Angie has combined her passions for emergency medicine, patent protection and travelling and now works all over the United States.

She is the Assistant Director of Skeptrack at DragonCon in Atlanta and has given talks at many skeptics meetings in the United States and Australia.

NOTE - This month, Skeptics in the Pub has been moved to accommodate the travel plans of our speaker.

People generally start arriving at around 6pm after work. The talk begins at 7pm and lasts for about 30 minutes. The night finishes when the last person leaves.

Enjoy a meal and a drink accompanied by lively discussion, free spoon bending lessons and the company of other sceptics, as we cover a variety of interesting topics.

There is no need to belong to Australian Skeptics - all are welcome. Bring friends too.
