Come and discover it with Poetae Novi (New Poets 🎸🎸🎸), a young ensemble from the Schola Cantorum, playing on historical instruments and presenting a program full of energy and emotion. We will travel (or fly!) to the musical city of Mannheim.

At the end of the event, we will enjoy an apéro and have some drinks together 🍷 to socialise — perfect for meeting new people in Basel!

We meet every first and third Sunday of the month at the local watering hole for game culture, the ManaBar! (English will be our primary spoken language). The place is always open, so if you really feel like playing more, you can always find wonderful people playing games there. No need to wait up for the monthly happening! :)

Are you new to our wonderful city and looking forward to meeting other local game enthusiasts? Are you a local, wanting to meet people from all around the world? We are a group of local people who want to bring people together through the magic of games. Our aim is to unite people and their game cultures and to be formidable hosts to all the wonderful people who call Basel their home. We are focused on board games, but you will find, that the venue we play in offers a great deal of other options as well.

First meeting was on December 1st 2019, at 15:00 (2 PM) and ongoing.

1. You will arrive at the venue:

2. The venue charges CHF 5.- per person and people can randomly find groups to play with.
3. Drinks and food are provided by the venue (please do not bring your own).

Be sure to follow the current safety precautions according to the BAG for restaurants and bars for the duration of the pandemic. At this time there are no recommended safety precautions in place.

You are most welcome to come to my Hatha Yoga class. I help people into the poses, correct the poses and talk about the benefits of the poses. I give the option of doing the easy and more difficult versions of the poses. No two classes are the same. Please note that I have several "regular" participants, they do not sign up via meetup so even if there is only one participant registered on meetup there will be other people at the class. The class is suitable for men and women, beginners to intermediate. It is a small friendly international group with about 4-7 participants who come on a regular basis.
