Talking Startups, funding and Blockchain Tech With AWS

For this months major event, come along and hear from the AWS team on what it takes to build a successful startup. It’s hard. Really hard. You need a great idea, flawless execution, awesome team, impeccable timing, brutal focus. And a large dollop of luck. You can’t learn startup success by reading a textbook or taking a course. You need to get out there and just do it. It's about real-life, in-the-trenches survival skills and tips designed to maximise your chances of success in the startup world. As well as educational and informative, it should also be a lot of fun.

Ian Gardiner is AWS’s startup Bear Grylls. He’s been running technology startups for 18 years before joining AWS. Joining Ian will be Adam Larter who is one of the Melbourne-based solutions architects. He will cover the basics of how to architect your infrastructure to minimise cost whilst maximising performance and scalability.
