Long Games Boardgaming Day

Details

Cost: $5

An event created specifically to facilitate the playing of longer, more complex boardgames. Come and play heavier/longer games in the city. Heavy Euros encouraged! This meet fits between the WABA meets on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month.

Sign up ahead of the day, drop-ins will rarely if ever be able to find a game to play.

Geeklist of games to be played: https://boardgamegeek.com/geeklist/255140/games-be-played-waw-sunday-26th-may-2019-perth-wa

This is the event where you’ll mostly find war-games, heavy euros and 18XX games. The average game runs about four hours, although some can go for much longer.

Because of the length and complexity of many of these games, and because we have a smaller number of attendees than WABA events, it is strongly suggested that you try to organise a game before the day to avoid disappointment, or come with some friends and a game you want to play. Feel free to drop me a message if you’re unsure about any details.

The city venue is extremely accessible, only a few minutes walk from the train station and is very central for food and anything else you need. There is no parking available at the venue, although there are multiple parking options close by.

Please note that the WABA games collection is not available during this event. Due to the nature of games played at this event, it is not suitable for social deduction, party or dexterity games.

Please note - this is not an event where you just turn up and expect to get a game played
