Thanks for your patience with this late meetup lineup confirmation - it's been a demanding work month and it's been hard to chase up our wonderful volunteer speakers to get the word out... However we're looking great for a quality monday! This is not an april fools gag - we're going to have a great time :-)

⚡️SSL Certificates with NodeJS - Andrei Hawke (inkedin.com/in/andrei-hawke-b9140a14) - 30min:
In the past, security via SSL was often optional. Today it's a must have and some developers may struggle understanding key concepts of SSL.
This talk is a mixture of theory and hands on demonstrations (inc sample code) of such topics such as: Importance and practices, Getting "Let's Encrypt" certificates, using it with tools or npm packages like Restify, Mosca, and TCP.

🖖 Gitlab for JS developers - Vladimir Roudakov (@VladimirAus) - 20min:
Gitlab is not only a code management service (and the only open source platform out of the big 3... Gitlab, Bitbucket and Github).... but it is also a full DevOps tool as stated on their home page! In this talk we are going to see what are the features available in GitLab free version and why is it more than just source control tool.

🔬Exploring Clojurescript/Clojure - Luke (github.com/BadAlgorithm) - 20min:
Sometimes we let folks even talk about things that aren't JS! It's healthy to compare, you know? ;-) Ever since he took it up, Clojure has really changed the way Luke has done development and he wants to show how this JS 'cousin' Clojurescript could benefit you too... He'll cover some things like Hiccup templating, Reagent React implementation, Reframe for redux-esque state, react-native, testing, etc...

🧰 10 simple tips for maintainable code - Dusan Gledovic (@DusanGledovic) - ~10-15min
Sometimes we need a good reminder or a little help on how to really write some maintainable code. Thankfully Dusan is keen and wants to share 10 tips on maintainable, readable code (including tests) that he generally tends to recommend to developers he's worked with. Get the good goss on this short talk...
