Learn to Negotiate Like a PRO plus Networking
This month, we are very fortunate to have Tony Lambrianos come to Brisbane to provide some powerful insights on how to negotiate like a pro, plus some networking afterwards.. Tony is a property investor, educator and mentor, who started his property investing journey over 20 years ago and has been a full time investor / entrepreneur for the last 7 years after a career in corporate business consulting. Tony is well placed to pass on his negotiation wisdom, after transacting dozens of properties. He continues to invest in residential rentals, renovations, property developments and commercial properties as well as other businesses in Australia and New Zealand. He has also mentored hundreds of property investors as one of the mentors and directors of Results Mentoring. Tony will be showing the group how to negotiate like a pro and then get everyone to practise negotiating a ‘dummy’ deal to cement what they’ve learnt! Negotiating Like a Pro As a full time investor and property mentor, Tony comes across people who have purchased an investment property to later discover that they: 1) paid too much for the property (and they don’t know it) – they allow emotion to drive their purchasing decision and often they get left holding a very expensive ‘lemon’! 2) fallen victim and were gullible to Real Estate Agent sales tactics bought in a suburb because someone within their circle of influence said it was a great idea only to discover that they paid too much! Paying too much for property comes down to two key factors: 3) not having a clear appreciation of property values in the area not knowing what information to look out for to help you negotiate and buy the property at the price you want The good news is that with the right education and solid practice, such mistakes can be overcome. Tony will be presenting key negotiating techniques, revealing how you can negotiate 10% plus off the list price of property. Learn the skills involved in: . Negotiating under market value . Knowing what price to start your offer at . How to test if the vendor is willing to discount further . How to close the sale for the highest chance of acceptance plus much more … Practise what you learn … You will then have the opportunity to practise some of these techniques at the meeting in a very safe environment. Don’t miss the chance to improve your negotiation skills, and find out some the secrets and techniques to becoming a gun negotiator. With such a great interactive session planned you won’t want to miss this meeting! There will be some structured networking, following Tony’s presentation. Registration from 6.30pm for a 7.00pm start. Finish around 9.00pm. Enjoy a meal at the Club before the meeting (from 5.30pm) and/or a drink afterwards. Please bring pen and paper as you’ll want to take plenty of notes! This is also a great opportunity to ask questions of the presenters and other participants. You might also want to bring a jacket, in case the room gets a little cool. RSVP to lock in your seat as we have limited places available!     What we're about

    The Brisbane Property Meeting Group was created by property investors to provide opportunities for like-minded investors to get together and learn from each other, share ideas and exchange contacts in a relaxed social environment.

    Who is the Brisbane Property Meeting Group?

    The Brisbane Property Meeting group is part of a national group (PropertyMeeting.com.au) and each state hosts local meetings run by experienced property investors with a passion for supporting others. The Brisbane Property Meeting group was started in 2011 and is currently run by Simon Honywood.

    Who is Simon Honywood?

    Simon was born in the UK and grew up knocking around old buildings, then working as a heritage planner in London before moving to the Antipodes and, ultimately settling in Brisbane. He supplemented his town planning experience with a stint as a landscape architect, having worked in consultancies and state and local governments in both capacities.

    While Simon and Sheila previously had buy and hold properties, they got a real taste for property investing and development when they did a combined subdivision and removal home project in 2007. Since then, they have been involved in renovation projects and more subdivisions.

    Simon chucked in his day job in 2016 to pursue property investing and development full time, boosted considerably by some excellent guidance from RESULTS and other coaches over the last few years.

    Having worked on both sides of the fence, Simon is keen to ensure that others can benefit from the incredible body of knowledge that is out there and to ensure that others can also get the generous support that fellow property investors and professionals can offer those on their own property journeys.

    Whether you’re just starting out or are experienced in your own investing, we guarantee that the topics and speakers at the various meetings will definitely spark your interest!

    What is the purpose of these meetings and why should you attend?

    The purpose of the meetings is education and networking. You will not be sold to in the meetings. If you like what is presented you may ask to get more information from the presenter. I invite experts in their respective property field of expertise such as architects, land surveyors, real estate agents, home staging experts, etc plus other investors to share their deals with the group.

The Brisbane Property Meeting group is a place where you can come and meet other like minded property investors in a to safe environment where you can ask any question you like. I recommend reading a lot of books and networking and speaking to other investors, and if you enjoy this sort of environment, then you will really enjoy the group.

    Property investing is so much more than buying a house and renting it out for 10 years waiting for it to go up in value. The best way to find out about investing is to come and listen to active investors who are doing the deals and making money in today's market.     As the group leader, I am keen to help others get started in property investing, or move to the next level of their investing. As a property investor, there is much to learn, and the people you meet play a big role in your investing journey.
