Conejo Valley Toastmasters

We meet each week both in-person as well as remotely by zoom to help our members master the skills to be great communicators and leaders. Chartered in 1963 by many of those who went on to found the City of Thousand Oaks, we are the first Toastmasters club in the area, and have helped hundreds of local citizens, business leaders, teachers, politicians, and others just like you reach their goals.

We do this by providing a supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth.

That is our mission and we invite you to take the journey that over 4 million have before you. It all begins with a single visit to our club.

At our meetings, members take turns filling various roles, each one giving you the opportunity to develop and practice a key skill such as listening, evaluating, organizing, leading, and of course... speaking. You will learn how to make formal presentations, to think on your feet, speak persuasively, add humor, connect with your audience, and much more.

Each of our members was in your position once. Every journey begins with a single step. We look forward to your visit, and to sharing what Toastmasters is all about with you.
