At our third meetup we are happy to have Jameson Lopp as our guest speaker giving a presentation about "Privacy Quest: A Year on the Run from the Panopticon".
Abstract: A year ago Jameson walked away from his old life and started over from scratch in an attempt to improve his privacy in every imaginable aspect. He also documented all the steps he took in order to make it easier for others to take this path. After living this new lifestyle for a year he has plenty of new lessons to share.
Bio: Jameson is a Cypherpunk who enjoys building technology that empowers individuals. After 3 years building infrastructure for BitGo's enterprise multisignature wallet service, he is now the CTO at Casa where he is focused on maximizing personal sovereignty and safety.

The event is outside at a private location. We have a heater and a tarp, but given the time of year better dress warm. Drinks are available. If you want to participate in the BBQ, please bring your own food (BYOF).

About our meetup:
We are on the verge of 2020, when the Cyberpunk Age will officially begin. States are failing, megacorps are rising, and consumers are getting nudged into acceptable behavior. Societies are more and more polarized while the Overton Window is shrinking.
We explore interesting social and technological developments from theoretical and practical angles. We build exciting alternatives in an age of mindless corporate consumerism. Connect with your tribe.
