Data analytics (DA) and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies (together termed here as DataAI sector) are expected to be heart of almost all industry in the next decade. Moreover, the DataAI sector is predicted to play a crucial role in US as well as the global economy.

According to the latest worldwide market study, revenues for Big-Data Analytics (BDA) solutions will reach from $166 billion in 2018 to $260 billion in 2022, at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 11.9% (source International Data Corporation). Further more, the AI Market is expected to exceed more than $191 billion by 2024 (at a CAGR of 37%). The DataAI sector includes, but not limited to, DA, BDA, robotic process automation (RPA), machine learning (ML) as well as AI technologies such as natural language processing, predictive analytics, deep learning etc. Metaphorically, this sector is soon going to be the heart that pumps the economic blood to the vital organs of the US as well as the global economy.

Hence, to promote the cross talk between technology & healthcare sectors to foster innovation, American Association for Precision Medicine partnered with several other organizations to host the DataAI National Summit (DANS) and Start-up Showcase/Award Ceremony 2020 in Silicon Valley, CA.

DANS2019 aims to achieve the following specific objectives:

To showcase successful companies/institutions, leaders/executives in DataAI sector
To highlight the role of DataAI sector in economic development
To present case studies and research findings in the DataAI sector
To bring together governments, development institutions, investors, academics and private institutions with interest in the DataAI sector
To discuss best practices in the DataAI field
To bring big, midsize, & small companies/institutions, together “under one roof”
To promote the cross talk between technology and healthcare sector &
To promote Research and Development in DataAI field

Taken together, the DataAI National Summit & Startup Showcase aims to recognize the success and vitality of the DataAI sector. This unique annual event has been established specifically to acknowledge, encourage and celebrate excellence among scientists, entrepreneurs, investors as well as industry executives by giving them the opportunity to gain valuable exposure and well-deserved recognition for their national and global expansion ambitions. DANS will also provide an opportunity to scientists, entrepreneurs, investors as well as industry executives, to learn more about innovative ways to implement new data analytics strategies, Big-Data solutions as well as AI in their organization.

The DANS lectureships are aimed to be established as one of the highest honors that can be bestowed upon DataAI stakeholders in the nation. The main goal of the DANS program is, therefore, to help US’s DataAI business sector grow and prosper, and to market United States as an investment hub for the rest of the world.
