On behalf of Python Ireland, we would like to invite you to submit a new workshop or talk proposal for the PyCon Ireland annual conference this year on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th October 2019 in the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel in Dublin.
This year’s conference consists of two tracks of talks along with two tracks of workshops. Python Ireland are looking for talks from all fields of application as long as they are strongly related to python and its use, including Data Science , IOT, Natural Sciences, GIS , Big Data, Database Systems, Data Engineering and more.

We believe that the Irish Tech Community would be very well placed to make an engaging contribution to what promises to be our most exciting conference yet.
The conference, fully volunteer organized is only possible with the help of people from the community stepping forward to share their time and knowledge.
The Python Ireland Committee
PyCon Limerick will take place on Saturday 29th February 2020 at the Strand Hotel Limerick. We hope to bring[masked] technologists and coders from around Ireland to the city next Spring.
We expect to present talks pertaining to
* Software Engineering and Development Operations
* Web Frameworks (i.e. Django)
* Data Science and Machine Learning
* Artifician Intelligence and Deep Learning
* Big Data and Data Engineering
* IOT, Sensors and Micropython
* Applications for Natural Sciences (e.g. Earth Observation, Environmental Monitoring)
First Time Speaker Track
There will be a track specifically dedicated to first time speakers. We encourage people to start come up with ideas and we can discuss them, and provide mentoring.

The European R User Meeting is coming to Milan in 2020.

The European R users meeting (eRum) is a biennial conference that brings the R User Community of Europe together to exchange experiences, broaden knowledge of R and collaborate.
eRum is an open event, and it welcomes expert and skillful practitioners as well as people who just want to take a peek on the future that’s to come; its main purpose is providing a platform for collaboration and sharing experiences. Being a no profit conference, ticket’s price will be kept as low as possibile.
We are using this listing to gauge interest in setting up a Kaggle Club.
