Welcome to the group! Houston is HUGE and only getting bigger. So for newcomers it is a daunting task to do anything. For locals...well they tend to stay in their local community and not venture out much. This group will explore familiar haunts along with periodically checking out some new areas of interest. We're always looking for new Assistant Organizers with new/fresh ideas. If you are willing to host events, please email me with your ideas. I would love to hear from you!

Hey Everyone,So this is the weekend before July the 4th. And that got me to thinking ,,,,, what better way to show our civic pride than to exercise our right to vote. Sooooo ,,,,,, introducing our third annual ,,📣📣📣,,,, BUILD YOUR OWN BAR HOP !!!
How does it work, you ask ? When you sign up for the event, use the following link to vote for your favorite bars and submit your ballot. THE LINK TO YOUR BALLOT CAN BE FOUND HERE:

To help ensure that we have an "informed electorate" our "hop" will be in Midtown - familiar stomping grounds for most of us. The ballot will ask each party-going-citizen to make three selections. One for the first stop of the night. One for the second stop. And one for the third. And if you're brand new to Houston, not to worry ! The ballot includes links to the websites for all of the different choices. So you can take a look and give it a go !
There are so many fun places in Houston. And we all have our favorites ! So NOW IS YOUR CHANCE ! YOUR VOTE AND YOUR'S ALONE IS THE ONE VOTE THAT WILL PUT YOUR FAVORITE PLACE OVER THE TOP !!! The polls are open !! And Voting will end at 4:00 PM on Saturday, June 28th. So DON'T WAIT ,,,,VOTE NOW !!!
