Title: Serverless Security - Preventing Lambda Exploitation & Data Exfiltration

Matthew Flannery will give a live technical demonstration where a Lambda function is exploited remotely to gain code execution, and show techniques that a malicious actor could use to exfiltrate customer / company data when cloud security best practices are not implemented. He will demonstrate the very real need for secure application and cloud architecture, and why the misconception that “It’s serverless, so it’s secure” places you at risk.
