What we’re about
This is a great group for anyone interested in drawing London's urban landscapes and parks, city landmarks, cemeteries, museums and galleries.
Sessions are very relaxed. Everyone splits up once a meeting point is picked out, so that we can all wander about to find something we're interested in drawing. Then at the end of the day and sometimes at lunchtime too we gather back together for a drink and to show what we've done. There is no tuition, but seeing other people's work is always a great way to see new techniques and ideas and get inspiration.
The group is entirely drop-in, so there is no obligation to enroll or attend every week, people just come when they can make it.
All sessions are absolutely free, all you'll need are materials you want to work with and a little money on your oyster card. All levels are welcome, hope you can join us!

See all- Pathways in Design & Illustration: For Young Creatives 16+Richmond Upon Thames College, London
This meet-up enrollment event is most likely to be for your children — or your friends’ children — who are aged 16 and over and thinking about their next steps after school. If they have a passion for art, design, illustration, gaming or animation, this session is the perfect chance to explore how RuTC’s A-Level in Graphics & Illustration can help turn creativity into a career. Basically, I have some spaces left on this amazing course, so I am reaching out for the final ten students to fill the course!
RuTC’s A-Level Graphics & Illustration gives you the chance to develop your potential as a graphic designer, animator, concept artist or illustrator. From children’s books, fashion magazines, branding, gaming, animation, film and more — every year, students bring their own interests into their projects.
This is a hands-on studio experience where you’ll learn the full design process through tutorials, workshops, and lectures in design, drawing, illustration, typography, and industry-standard software like Adobe Photoshop and InDesign. You’ll also explore illustration, letterforms, packaging design, and more — all while discovering your own creative voice.
Entry requirements: average point score of 5, including GCSE English and Maths, plus a passion for drawing.
Career pathways: Graphic & Multimedia Designer, Animator, Illustrator, Game Designer, Art Director — basically, any creative studio-based profession.
Meet us this Saturday by 12 pm to enrol! Don’t miss your chance to start your creative journey.
