What we're about

Welcome to Embracing Women’s Potential (EWP)

https://www.embracingwomenspotential.com (https://www.embracingwomenspotential.com/)

EWP is more than just a group of women offering social scenes in the Southern Highlands.

We are a community of gifted, talented, intelligent, awakened, caring and loving human beings who are passionate about social change and whole-system transformation.

EWP makes a bold stand to bring LOVE in action to the world through the deliberate empowerment of women’s potential through psychological, emotional, spiritual, and social support, and through education to rise and shine, be transformed and to cause ripple effects throughout the world. We are an open multicultural community with a special focus on building a healthy relationship with self and with others through authentic connection and transformative learning space.

What we offer:

• We offer an inspiring safe space and real opportunities for authentic connection and true belonging in a community setting for all women regardless of their origin, culture or religious background.

• We offer a range of ways to connect, learn, share, develop, and have fun through our social activities and transformative learning programs.

• We offer psychological, emotional, spiritual, and social support to women who want to make a profound difference in the world in which they live through a sustainable community engagement program of Courses, Focus Groups, Workshops, Retreats, Events, and Social Activities.

Our mission is to reach out with LOVE and COMPASSION by inspiring and empowering all women to reach their full potential through education to rise and shine – addressing systems that cause inequality – causing the ripple effect – influencing profound positive, lasting change.

If you are seeking to find a place of true belonging, authentic connection and education for whole-system transformation, then you have come to the right place.

GREAT NEWS for EWP 2021 Retreat

21 Marine Parade

To all our lovely members, We hope this email finds you well and enjoying life as “normal” as possible during this unprecedented time in our history. We are so excited to let you know that we have booked accommodation for our EWP Annual Retreat for 2021 from Friday 19th February to Sunday 21st February. We booked a little earlier in the year than usual to take advantage of the warmer weather for swimming and beach walking. We have also booked a different location in Jervis Bay. The property is called Mandala Beach House, located at 21 Marine Parade, Callala Bay. The House has six bedrooms, five of which have an ensuite. It looks great and the Bay is literally on our door step, so to speak. (Check it out on Google) However, in order to confirm this property for our 2021 retreat the owner requires 50% deposit by the end of July. What we need from you, as soon as possible, is a notification of your attendance (by reserving your spot on Meetup) and a deposit of at least $50 to ensure your spot. You can transfer your deposit to EWP bank account; see details at the bottom of this email. Next year will also mark the 10th year of EWP’s annual retreats which makes this time extra special for those of you who will join us. We are so looking forward to another year of having fun, authentic connection, transformative learning, and most importantly making special memories together. Our Saturday afternoon Workshop will also be open to any of our members who would like to just join us for the day. More information about the workshop and the retreat theme will be available later. Please note the property only accommodates a small group of people and we have very limited spots left. Further information, including the total cost for your accommodation, will be emailed to you by the end of this year. If you have any further questions regarding the retreat accommodation, please do not hesitate to contact Barb by return email, text or call Barb’s mobile phone,[masked]. Much love, Barb and the EWP team. xxooxx EWP Bank Account: Barbara J. Lear BSB:[masked] Account No:[masked] Westpac

Understanding The Power of our Passion and Purpose with Tisiola Lear.

Free Focus Group Understanding The Power of our Passion and Purpose with Tisiola Lear. Dear lovely members, As we are continuing to face the challenging times ahead, it became apparent that nothing replaces our physical human connection. Keeping in mind that undoubtedly COVID-19 will impact our lives and our community for some time yet; however the opportunity to return, re-enter, and re-focus our intention and energy to co-create our best way forward on purpose requires the physical space. And while some of the restriction measures have been relaxed, we are still required to remain vigilant in upholding the important steps to keep ourselves safe and well, such as choosing to stay home if you are unwell, practice social distancing and good hygiene. What does it mean? It means that our Focus Group meetings will now return to our physical gathering space at 40 Emily Circuit, Bowral. To keep in alignment with COVID-19 health measures, we won’t be sharing meals together as we have done in the past. But instead we will meet for social drinks at 6pm followed by our Focus Group meeting which will start at 6.30pm to 8.00pm. This means that you will need to eat prior to arriving for our Focus Group meeting. When will it happen? Commencing on Tuesday 23rd February at 6.00pm to 8.00pm and continuing on the last Tuesday of every month until further notice. We have changed our Focus Groups from Monday nights to Tuesdays nights. (Please see the event on Meetup and reserve your spot ONLY if you are honestly intending to attend.) Who can attend? This invitation is ONLY right for you if you value “Authentic Connection”, “Healthy Collaboration,” “Transformative Learning”, and you are seriously interested in having deep meaningful conversations about becoming change agents, transforming our world by becoming the change that you want to see in the world. How does it work? An event has been created on Meetup under “Embracing Women’s Potential” on which you can reserve your spot for the upcoming Focus Groups. Please update your RSVP if your circumstance changes and you can’t make it. For those of you who can’t join us physically, you are welcome to join us via Zoom. Please let us know your preference, and we will send you the Zoom link to join if that works better for you. If you have any further enquiries, please feel free to contact us via email, phone Michelle on[masked] or post your questions on Meetup and one of our team members will answer. You can also refer to our 2021 program on our website: https://www.embracingwomenspotential.com/2021-program and keep up to date with our conversation by checking our Blog: https://www.embracingwomenspotential.com/blog I hope you will join us for our next Focus Group on Tuesday 23rd February at 6.00pm for social drinks before our meeting starts at 6.30pm. Let’s continue our conversation while staying connected to be part of the great change in history and the remaking of a better world for all, starting with ourselves. Much love Tisi and the EWP Team
