Secret Burger Kitchen started inside a Holiday Inn hotel kitchen in Tacoma. Paul Sandhu and his nephew Mandeep. A pile of spices. One belief. If the flavor was real, people would find it.

No big launch. No backup plan. No sign on the door. Just an obsession with building the burger they wanted to eat, one recipe at a time.

People found it. That kitchen is still running today.

If you’ve ever wanted to pet a sheep, this is your chance! A number of people have expressed interest in meeting my little flock of babydoll southdown mini sheep, so we are going to meet at my house before the Olalla Bay Market dinner to say hi to the sheep and feed them some animal crackers. I am trying to socialize my new lamb (pictured), so introducing him to new people is helpful. I can’t guarantee that he wont be shy, but he is super cute. You are also welcome to tour my garden and pick some flowers to take home.
