Learn to pose, a workshop for Models and aspiring Photographer/Models
This workshop is one for models or aspiring photographer/models.. In this workshop we will spend a half day session going over how to pose for the camera, how to sell fashion, what angles are your best, what you can do in front of the camera, creative ideas, look book posing, commercial posing, high fashion poses, creating your own style, finding light, expression, and in amongst all of that I will photograph you and give you a set of free Digis* to present to any agency. *Digis are unretouched, clean shots, that show an agency what you look like in real life as a clean canvas. generally makeup is not advised. A gallery of your fashion shots will be available to you from the day and you will receive 1 shot fully retouched to use as you please whilst other images will be available for $30 each. This workshop is no guarantee or your suitability for agency work but I can certainly advise you and point you in the right direction if you have the look and height requirements to fulfil a working model profile. Testimonials Michelle has a relaxed, creative style making you feel comfortable in front of the camera and confident you’ll get great shots. She has a great eye for light and capturing something that’s pleasing to the eye but also tells a story - Tim Robards, Men’s Health cover model and TV Bachelor Shooting with Michelle is awesome, she is super chill and very talented in finding the right angles and strengths of the model. She got me out of that awkward posing state and I truly learned to express myself in front of the camera! - Benjamin Ahlblad, International fitness model Michelle is wonderfully creative. She’s great at giving direction to create beautiful images as well as allowing the model to bring their own flow to the shoot. - Bryony Carter, Model / Actress Michelle really understands and connects with the model before bringing the camera out. She’s all about building a relationship and confidence up with the model so they achieve their best on set! Pleasure to work with. - Sara Richardson, Bella Management Booker I always feel at ease straight away with Michelle and she has a clear vision of the mood of the shots already. She also give me hints on what to think to get the expression needed which has been an awesome tip for me. Charlie Di Stefano, Giant Model Michelle is easily one of my favourite photographers that I've been lucky to work with. A unique artist both in front and behind the camera, Michelle brings a strong feminine touch to a predominately male industry resulting in a distinctive yet intimate style within her shots. Michelle's approach to her art is,in my opinion, an interesting balance between slightly methodical, and happy go lucky, resulting in a fun and hugely creative collaboration every time. Her enthusiasm is matched only by her efficiency to bring to light a side of you that you didnt know you had. Dylan Hocking, fashion model GTR Global
