✅(B) Attractions:

👉Thomson Nature Park (the ruins of the former Hainan Village)

The 50-hectare Thomson Nature Park houses the ruins of the former Hainan Village, offering visitors a glimpse into life in Singapore in the 1960s. The park is also home to a number of rare and endangered animals, such as the Raffles’ Banded Langur. A subspecies of the banded leaf monkey, the animal can only be found in Singapore and southern Peninsular Malaysia and is listed as critically endangered.

👉Springleaf Nature Park
Due to its close proximity to the Reserve, Springleaf Nature Park is rich in biodiversity, and is home for more than 80 species of resident and migratory birds. These include the White-throated Kingfisher, Blue-tailed Bee-eater and Long-tailed Parakeet.

👉Lower Seletar Reservoir
If you have ever taken the train between Khatib and Yio Chu Kang stations, you would have looked out the waters of Lower Seletar Reservoir and greenery of Lower Seletar Reservoir Park.

Up until 1992, Lower Seletar Reservoir was known as Sungei Seletar Reservoir. It was created in the 1980s by the damming of the mouth of the Seletar River but the history of the area stretches back much further.

👉Upper Seletar Reservoir Park (Rocket-Shaped Tower)
Take a leisurely stroll and admire the serenity of the reservoir, climb up to the top of the iconic rocket-shaped tower and be rewarded with stunning panoramic views of the waters and adjacent greenery.

👉 Lower Peirce Reservoir
Singapore's second-oldest reservoir, was built by impounding the upper reaches of the Kallang River and was commissioned in 1912.

Visit the Lower Peirce Trail running through the forest and along the edge of this reservoir. Along this charming 900-metre boardwalk, you’ll be greeted with captivating views of regenerating secondary forests.
