Tavitjan Brothers-Macedonian Ethno Jazz

Tavitjan Brothers will be performing at Cafe Posk in Hammersmith, so this is an opportunity for London Europeans to hear some Balkan jazz. Originally from Macedonia the brother's surname comes from an Armenian great grandfather who emigrated to Macedonia.

With more than 400 concert performances across Europe, USA and the Balkans, Tavitjan Brothers are among the finest and most acclaimed jazz musicians from Macedonia.
The music range of these superb musicians starts from mainstream jazz to fusion,ethno and electronic elements in a modern manner with accent on virtuosity of each musician involved.
They have performed on numerous international festivals and concerts worldwide and received a number of international music awards.
One of their releases won at the international music competition which was published by SONYJAZZ (UK).
Tavitjan Brothers are well known as composers, performers and music producers of the highest calibre. They have collaborated and shared the stage with jazz icons like Joe Zawinull, Chick Corea, Mc Coy Tyner, Blues Brothers,Rhani Krija (STING), Theodosii Spassov, Branford Marsalis, Roseanna Vitro etc.
