Taronga Zoo to Balmoral, a visit to the Tramway Cutting and Rocky Point Island

Details
UPDATE
Dear walkers, the weather is going to be dry tomorrow, a bit windy and around the low 20s. So we are going ahead with our walk. For the people who are meeting up with us at Circular Quay, please try to be inside Customs House in time so we can all walk over to the ferry at 10.10. For the people who can't make it, please sign out so others can move up into the attendance list.

We'll meet inside Customs House and take the ferry to Taronga Zoo from Wharf 4, at 10.20am to be at Taronga Zoo Wharf at 10.35am. For the people who want to meet up with us on the North Shore side, please wait for us at the tap off area of the wharf.
From there we continue along the coastlines of Bradley Head, Chowder Bay and then up to Georges Head Lookout to end our walk in Balmoral Beach.
The walk is mostly flat with but with quite some steep sections in between up to Georges Head and down to Balmoral Beach.
In Balmoral, for the history fans, we will go see the little known Tramway Cutting and we end our walk with a visit to nearby Rocky Point Island.
Please bring along water, sturdy shoes, sunscreen, a hat and maybe some snacks for a quick brake at spectacular Georges Head Lookout.

From Balmoral buses leave for Circular Quay every 10 - 15 minutes and there is another option to walk south to Mosman wharf and take the ferry back to CQ.
