Welcome to the Microsoft Cloud (South Coast) User Group!
This user group is for anyone interested in Microsoft 365 and Azure; we focus on all three clouds of the Microsoft platform: Business Applications, Modern Workplace and Azure.
The User Group is a free to attend event, hosted at the Ageas Bowl, Southampton on the first Tuesday of each month, kicking off at 7pm.
Unlike other User Groups (who typically focus on a single area); the South Coast User Group rotates its focus quarterly, covering - Biz Apps, Azure and Modern Workplace.
We typically have 2-3 sessions per meetup, with each session lasting between 20-40 minutes. Anyone is welcome to submit a session - all sessions will be scheduled (no approval or review process).
The South Coast User Group is proudly supported by Microsoft, Mexa Recruitment CPS. These sponsors help support the cost of venue hire and providing food and drink for all attendees (beer and pizza!). There's usually some SWAG being handed out too!

**19:00-19:30 - A Case Study - Sentiment Analysis using Azure Data Factory and Azure Cognitive service, Alpa Buddhashatti, Freelance Azure Data Engineer/Trainer
In this session , I will provide a basic introduction of Azure Data Factory, a scalable cloud-based data integration service. I will show a case study to move data from Azure Blob Storage to Azure SQL Server. Furthermore I will show you how you can transform data on-the-fly with Azure Data Factory Mapping Data Flows. Also , I will show to how to apply sentiment Analysis on your data using Azure Text Analytics service. lso How to send an email using ADF and Logic Apps. This demo will also use the following technologies:
* Azure Key Vault
*Azure Blob Storage
*Azure Sql Server
*Azure Cognitive service (for sentiment analysis)
* Azure Data Factory and its Data Flows.
*Azure Logic Apps
The main goal of this session is to provide basic knowledge of ADF using case study so attendee will leave with ADF knowledge and Also Azure cognitive service and how to apply this in different scenarios.

20:30 - 21:00 - Using Azure NetApp Files Datastores with Azure VMware Solution
This session will be about using the Azure NetApp Files storage service as a datastore for Azure VMware Solution. The Azure VMware Solution integration with Azure NetApp Files helps to easily scale storage capacity and performance beyond the limits of native vSAN built on top of the AVS nodes and lower your over all total cost of ownership.
I will also be joined by Niyaz Mohamed who is a Technical Marketing Engineering at NetApp focused on product development.
