This group is for creative souls who are passionate about sewing, modern machine quilting, and machine embroidery. All skill levels are welcome. Let's get together, stitch, show and share! We have lots of programs and you don't even need a machine to get started!
If you are interested in sewing or quilting but don't know how yet, look for our Novice and Beginner Sewing Classes. These are offered throughout the year and we have Novice Sewing, Novice Quilting, Novice Embroidery, and Novice Serger. You can also request a program through the Comments Section on the home page! If there is enough interest, we'll do it, it's that simple :)
For all programs you will need a well-working sewing machine and a sewing kit. You can choose to borrow one if you would like. There is no extra charge for this. Have I mentioned that we are an easy-going group?
SEW, if you love sewing, quilting, machine embroidery or using your serger JOIN us!
Just a gentle note on RSVPs.
RSVP vs Registration: RSVPs mean Respond S'il Vous Plait in French or, Please Reply in English. It's a delightful way to express interest in a particular program. That said, an RSVP is not a paid registration so please complete the registration process when you RSVP. There must be at least 4 paid registrants for every course and class otherwise the program will be automatically canceled. If for this or any other reason such (illness, horrid weather, emergencies), we need to cancel a class or course, you will be fully refunded the class fee. We understand that life events happen and sometimes you just can't make it. As a courtesy, if you cannot make it to your scheduled program please change your RSVP to "not going" on this site and please contact your instructor about a refund 24 hours before any paid program. There are no refunds on the day of the class or after that. Thanks for understanding!
Learning to sew is fun and rewarding! At the Novice Sewing Workshop, participants will have the chance to discover professional sewing methods. Enjoy the satisfaction of completing three projects in one afternoon. This class is also perfect for students wishing to complete unfinished class projects.
I can only accept 10 students due to space restrictions!
