Hit the ground running with GraphQL by refactoring your mental approach to how you write APIs. REST APIs revolve around fulfilling one purpose per endpoint. To work with GraphQL you have to think about multiple use cases in one endpoint, this talk covers exactly how to do that.

This talk will briefly explain some high level information about event sourcing and what it can be good for, then dive into a real world example where we will try and figure out if an asteroid has almost caused the 'End of Days' using some data from NASA!

Josh Wulf, Camunda
In this talk, Josh will show you how to powerfully and effectively use and contribute to Open Source, and how you can use this to your advantage to develop your career.
Josh spent a decade working in Open Source at Red Hat, and got his latest job - Developer Advocate at Camunda - purely through open source contribution - while working a day job on a closed source software platform.
