We have a successful history of developing Edtech startups on the north shore (eg ASX:3PL --> Mathletics and Spellodrome) and on this night we'll explore everything relating to how to start and grow your Edtech venture: from how to develop your idea into a digital solution, how to crack the market, how to get your product sold to a thousand schools and how to demonstrate value adding to school principals and decision makers.

Mark launched Literatu (http://about.literatu.com) into the global K-12 education market in 2012 after selling his successful Risk Management software company in 2009.
Literatu's key milestones:
• 3 international awards for education technology, including BETT Asia 2014
• 60,000 users in Singapore and a partnership with TATA India to deploy across their 1200 schools.
• B2C assessment app for MacMillan India, supporting 2m (6m in 2018) text books in private schools.
• Penetrated other markets including: Virginia USA, Guatemala, Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia.
When not travelling throughout Asia, Mark mentors young Australian entrepreneurs and is on the Board of a private school in Sydney.

Robert Barakat is the Co-Founder and CEO of Atomi Education, an online teaching and learning platform designed for senior schools and students across the globe. An entrepreneur from an early age, Robert created the SAC Tutoring School before starting Atomi as a way to reach more students with a unique and empathetic approach to teaching. Atomi now reaches over 70,000 students and 12,000 teachers across Australia and the UK. Robert is involved in crafting the company culture, overseeing content production and working closely with schools to infuse digital tools into the classroom. Robert speaks often about methods of creating engaging lessons and the flipped learning pedagogy. With duel degrees in Applied Finance and Law (Hons) Robert also serves on the Board of Directors and Executive staff.
JENNY ATKINSON (https://www.linkedin.com/in/jennyatkinson/)
Jenny began her career managing call centres. Her many achievements included establishing Allianz’s first call centres, and being an early adopter of scoping CRM technologies and connecting them to legacy systems.
Jenny, a strong 3D, visual person, spent eight years in the property industry. In her role as Managing Director of Street Smart Property, from 2006-2014. She saw an opportunity in the $2-$10 million Neighbourhood Shopping Centre market that wasn’t being targeted.
Jenny is also active in the community. She was president of Manly Vale Public School P&C from November 2016 to January 2018 and was a volunteer lifesaver at Manly Surf Life Saving Club from 2012 to 2014.
