This is a group for anyone interested in learning or playing Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition, Goblin bashing, Orc slaying, Ogre stomping, Dungeon Crawling and stealing treasure from a dragon or two. That said if you want to try running a different RPG locally, that'd be cool too!
All skills levels are welcome. We encourage new players to take on roles as Player Characters (PCs) and Dungeon Masters (DMs).
Each group is playing at a different level. If you're just starting to play D&D for the first time there is a group for you. We normally have at a level 1 table once a month.
We are a open-minded group who promotes socially supportive/encouraging behavior and discourage behavior that is shamming, rude, bullying, racist, and belittling of other players. Ottawa D&D Adventurers accepts all in joining for live Dungeons & Dragon sessions!
We are here to enjoy a great game and have grand adventures together encouraging drug and alcohol free meetups, however, some venues are pubs and we ask you to please respect and support the venues who host us and drink responsibly if you choose to do so. If you are a smoker, there are spaces available outside for you.
Our oldest player is in their 60's and our youngest player is 10. They are both the quietest and deadliest of players. :P If by quietest you mean only shoots spells and half the time hit party members and deadliest you mean gets the party into more trouble than not.
