Hello fellow artisans!
We have another amazing meetup planned for you!
There will be two juicy talks on the night. More details and a full schedule will be updated later, but to give you a preview -
1. Laravel API Boilerplate
Max will talk about his API boilerplate, which simplifies the work of writing API projects, drastically reducing the time and complexity of doing so
2. Expressive eloquent collections
Tim will talk about extending eloquent collections is a nice way to make your collections speak the projects domain language and leads to numerous codebase improvements
Free beer and pizza will be provided by our hosts, 4mation Technologies!
After our January event, discussing improvement and new ideas for the group, this was one of them. So, if you RSVP 'yes' you'll get a notification whenever some comments on the event (provided you have the right settings on Meetup for this group).
Your initial comment could be something like:
• "How do add authentication to my application?"
• "How do I write a simple API?"
• "How do I test my code?"
• "I would like to have another live session [Taylor Otwell]"
• "How do I improve security / performance / etc?"
• "Can we discuss Spark / Dusk / etc?"
• "Can we do a hackthon on TDD?"
Then, if someone is able to answer that question or address the topic, we can schedule it for the next meetup as a presentation.
Ideally it should not be very specific, low level questions. For that we the Laracasts forum, stackoverflow and more.
Doing this this way, people with more experience would be able to help the group (and specially the new ones to Laravel) and we all can learn from each other.
