1920’s Chicago: SKULDUGGERY at the SPEAKEASY - So much fun its almost CRIMINAL!

Are you ready for a fabulous evening of hilarious fun and saucy, outrageous skulduggery???

Its back! Our most popular Murder Mystery!! Gangsters and flappers, high society, prohibition, Mafiosi, sexy women and real men!

You will be assigned your character 10 days-2 weeks ahead. Get dressed up, ham it up, be outrageous. These evenings are great fun! We will have a 3 course meal and a great laugh. There will be a comedic murder- who will it be and why? And who dunnit? Can you figure it out? Fun ‘Prizes’ for a correct deduction and for the most outrageous/best played character!

This is a fabulous mystery run over 4 rounds, mostly seated around the dinner table, but with a few clue hunts etc. We have a separate room which is decorated up with period music-its all tongue in cheek and light-hearted. Cost is currently $79.95, some $15 less than first advertised. Cost includes the game and a ‘3 course’ light pub dinner ( I have to supply dessert-if you are good at dessert and supply it, you can have a discount). This is a break-even cost. NB BY SIGNING UP YOU AGREE THAT YOU ARE AWARE THAT IN WA IT IS HIGHLY ILLEGAL TO CARRY TOY WEAPONS IN PUBLIC. ITS ok to have them in the room, but not even in the pub when you go for a pee-check them at the door. I also need everyone to help me rapidly ‘undecorate’ the room when we conclude at around 11pm.

The mystery is set in a ‘Speak Easy’ in 1920’s Chicago, owned by ‘Boots Legger’, a society madam. It’s the time of the mafia: gangsters and guns, flappers, madams and good time gals! It’s a bawdy, sexy, fun-loving era! Think: Honky Tonk music, the Charleston and illegal alcohol! It’s a time of plots and subterfuge, mayhem and murder!!! ….and now YOU are a suspect(!) or……are you the victim? And who did what to whom and…why? Welcome to an evening of chaos, calamity, laughs and outrageous fun!!!!

DRESS FOR THE PERIOD/YOUR CHARACTER. You’ll need to bring a great sense of humour and a light-hearted approach toward deceit, larceny, sex and murder! Ham it up, fake an accent, exaggerate your character’s attributes, be outrageous!

‘Chicago mob ‘Godfather’ Harold, “H’Al” Coppone was released today from Awsume State Penitentiary near Philadelphia after serving a six month term. Coppone was met by a group of his men including Joey “The Rattlesnake Ratello” – and departed quickly in a powerful seven-passenger Lincoln Touring car. It is rumoured they were headed back here to Chicago, where it is said there are many people with scores to settle.’

Now since he was my (secret) lover, I’m just a tad worried, as are many of my other clients who have been somewhat misbehavin’ since he was imprisoned, for which I’m guessing he wasn’t very happy! Oh my, trouble is coming!!!
