What we’re about
It's hard to make new friends over 55. I created this group so that people will not have to do things alone. Various interests and activities. Movies, Board Games, Hikes, theater, Coffee houses
If you want to organize events, please let me know and I will give you permission to add to the calendar. The more ideas we have the more fun we will have.
If you have great ideas for events, Let me know and I can make you an event organizer.

See all- (Social Walk) Quabbin Reservoir Gate #29 (2 Hrs)Quabbin Gate#29 Parking New Salem, MA, New Salem, MA
Lets take a walk starting from gate 29. There are number old roads we can walk.
- The sun is strong so a hat would be nice.
- Perhaps something to drink as well.
- I have been here exploring before.
- We could walk to the waters edge, the road just litterally disapears.
- We could walk to regulating dam, which is pretty cool.
- We could walk through old neighborhoods, seeing old cellar holes, stonewalls. Not as popular as some of the other gates, still plenty to see. We could walk to the Keystone Bridge, quite photogenic! Unfortunately, no dogs since this is a public water shed area.
