THE SESSION
Implementing Power BI isn’t as easy as it looks. While Microsoft makes it seem like dashboards and insights are just a few clicks away, the reality is that there are countless ways things can go wrong - poor data models, sluggish reports, security gaps, and messy governance, just to name a few.
After 9.5 years in Power BI consulting, I’ve made (and learned from) almost every mistake out there. To save you the pain, I’ve compiled a Power BI Developer Checklist - a step-by-step guide to getting it right.
In this session, we’ll walk through the critical steps that make or break a Power BI implementation, including:
✅ Defining Objectives & Scope – Avoiding misalignment and scope creep.
✅ Data Governance & Security – Ensuring compliance, security, and scalability.
✅ Data Modelling & Performance – Structuring data for speed and efficiency.
✅ Report Design & User Experience – Building intuitive, actionable reports.
✅ Validation & Deployment – Testing for accuracy, security, and long-term success.
By the end of this session, you’ll have a battle-tested framework for Power BI development that helps you deliver high-quality, scalable, and performant reports—without the headaches.
🔹 Who should attend? Power BI developers, analysts, consultants, and anyone involved in Power BI implementation.
🔹 What you’ll get? A copy of the Power BI Developer Checklist and real-world insights from years of hands-on experience.
Join me for this practical, no-fluff walkthrough, and let’s make Power BI work the right way. 🚀Sponsors:
