
What we’re about
The mindfulness practices which are simple by nature give us the key to open our inherent capacity to face the challenges of our lives and support us on a path of wellness. Consistent cultivation of the practices results in deep life transformation.
The purpose of this group is to explore, cultivate, and support the Art of Mindfulness Living by providing training in practice and theory of the wisdom traditions of mindfulness and modern psychology, including meditation of breath, body, emotions and thoughts, body scans, mindfulness movement, and cognitive awareness and journaling. This work is based on the principles of MBSR and MBCT (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and Cognitive Therapy)
The work as shared in group sessions lead to integration of mindfulness in the day to day living and thus bringing Awareness into all aspects of life.
The group will create a supportive environment where members can be a source of inspiration and motivation for each other to work together and on their own to nurture the mindfulness practices
The group intends to offer the following:
• Facilitating group meditation and mindfulness sessions
• Courses in mindfulness, breathwork and journal writing.
• Group sessions in yoga, and other movement practices
• Free Lecture series about these practices
• Special events - guest speakers; retreats and others at the right time during the group development process

Join us for Gentle Beginner Outdoor Yoga + Meditation at Fairy Lake Park
We’re excited to offer a new healing modality this summer—a gentle beginner yoga session led by certified yoga teacher and wellness coach Kristine. Set in the natural beauty of Fairy Lake Park, this practice invites you to slow down, ground yourself, and reconnect with your inner calm and the healing energy of natural surroundings.The 45-minute yoga session led by Kristine will be followed by a 10-minute seated meditation, led by Mukin, designed to help integrate the physical and energetic journey of the practice.
This weekly offering is a gift to our Mindful Meditation Group and all friends of the community — an opportunity to move, breathe, and meditate together in the healing embrace of nature. There is No Cost to participate. If you feel moved to contribute, optional donations will be welcomed.

When: Tuesdays at 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM, continuing throughout September

Where: Fairy Lake Park, We’ll meet under the four-trunk willow tree in front of the gazebo. Please park in the 2nd or 3rd parking lot—the tree is located where the walkway from the 3rd lot meets the trail.

What to Bring: While we will have a few yoga mats, cushions, and chairs available, you’re welcome to bring your own gear, a water bottle, and anything else that will help you feel comfortable and supported outdoors.
