This month we will be having two presentations.

=== The Human Side of a Security Incident ===
Chris Lewis (@chrislewisdev)

What could it be like to work through a real-life security incident at your company? As awareness about security in our industry improves, we hear much about how to keep our applications secure, but rarely do we consider what happens to your employees when something goes wrong. Allow me to share my story about the emotional highs and lows of working through a security incident, as we look past its technical surface and into the human experience behind it instead.

Chris is a full-stack developer who loves to dabble in conference speaking and blogging. If he’s not busy tinkering with some code, you’ll probably find him tinkering with his keyboards instead!

=== Real-time Web Applications at Scale ===
(with ASP.NET Core SignalR)
Stafford Williams (@staff0rd)

A look into what are, and the history of, real-time web applications followed by an overview of SignalR on .NET Core and Azure. We'll then talk about using cloud resources to push application servers and concurrent connections to their limit and wrap it up with an all-hands on-board audience participatory experience demonstrating possible use-cases for real-time web technology.

NOTE: The group meets in the Sydney CBD, near Wynyard station, not in Revesby (there's been some map bugs around this)!
