Calling all Werewolves and Villagers!
Come join us back at The Horse Hotel in Surry Hills for an evening of social gameplay in the classic game of deception, distraction, and deduction.
We will run multiple games of Werewolf throughout the night, and anyone is welcome to join including players new and experienced.
So if you would like to come and be able to make it please RSVP.
There is also food and drinks available for purchase at the Hotel.
We will be located in the Function room on the second floor. (The bar area upstairs is closed at the moment).
COST: $5 admission
In order to know the player count in advance to plan the game scenarios prior to the event (which takes a lot of time and effort), as well as having encouraging RSVPs that actually attend (as it isn't fair to people who want to come but couldn't because of the limited spots) we are now introducing a nominal entry fee to cover the cost of keeping this Meetup running and not shut down so thank you for your contribution!
6pm: Meet and great, order food and drinks, house keeping, rules explanation and distributing of roles:
6:[masked]pm: Game time
9:30-10pm: Packing up and social chat.
Note: This function room is capped at 20 people.
P.S. RSVP as soon as you know you can join us, as spots filled up super quick!
P.P.S. Please update your RSVPs prior to 3pm on the day of the event if you are no longer coming to give those on the waiting list enough time to arrange travel to get to the event. People who repeatedly pull out last minute will not be invited back as it isn't fair to those on the waiting list who want to come. As usual, no-shows will be marked and recorded.
If you are interested in attending this event please RSVP via the Pub Werewolf Meetup page: https://www.meetup.com/Pub-Werewolf-Sydney/
See you soon!
We are 100% coordinated by volunteers. Through our events, this group strives to engage and empower same-sex attracted Asian men within the community in Sydney. Our game nights are a great way for same-sex attracted Asian Men to be themselves, have fun and be social in a safe environment.
Since the start of COVID we are hosting online events. Based on the success of our previous virtual games and request from participants, we are planning another virtual games night.
Instead of our usual onsite games nights, we will have virtual game sessions that we can do at the comfort of our own homes, via zoom starting at 5:45pm. Agenda as follows:
5:45pm - Game rules and Question time for newbies.
6pm to 9:30pm - Online Werewolf Sessions. 2 teams (villagers and werewolves teams) are trying to eliminate the other team, however everyone's identities is secret. This video conference version will be slightly tweaked for the online experience. More game details on the night. Bring a pad of paper/small whiteboard and a thick marker pen to write on (required) and a blindfold (optional)
9:30pm onwards - Social chat a.k.a. afterparty. For those that want to stick around to chat with other participants feel free to stay online.
Spectators and allies welcome though it's more fun to play. Looking for at least 10 players. RSVP to confirm the helps me plan the games. Online event will be hosted through Zoom. Zoom link sent to attendees before the event:
Please arrive on time as coming while a game has started may affect the experience for everyone else, and only RSVP if you intend on coming as this affects pre-game preparations.
See you then!

To celebrate relaxation of restrictions in Greater Sydney, let's do a hike from Bondi Beach to the Coogee Beach to see the Rainbow Walkway.
Meet: 1pm Sunday 31 October in front of ANZAC Memorial on Liverpool St. (Hyde Park), where we will take the bus to Bondi Beach.
End: Coogee Beach, for a Instagram photo of everyone at the Rainbow Walkway.
Important: We ask that only fully vaccinated members join this event, in line with current version of government rules (outdoor gatherings up to 50 people).
As it will be Halloween, you're welcome to hike in costume!
Further details will be posted closer to the event. The walk is 6km and takes 2-3 hours.
