Welcome to Sydney Social Riders (SSR).
We are a motorcycle group founded in 2015 for those who enjoy riding and meeting like-minded individuals in a relaxed, organised and social atmosphere.
We have a wide & diverse membership ranging from 17 to 70 and all are welcome.
SSR also has many female members and we strongly encourage many more to join - testosterone free rides are so much more fun!
We are NOT a "boy racer" group - there are many other groups that are designed for those who want to ride that way. We have many members & ride leaders who have previously raced but no longer need to stroke their own ego by proving anything on a public road.
SSR is non discriminatory....don't care who or what you are or what you ride. Having said that, if you ride a Harley for the sake of the image of riding a Harley, maybe we're not your perfect group.
SSR is the premier motorcycle group for those who enjoy having fun & riding in a relaxed, organised and social atmosphere. Rides are organised on a regular basis and cater to all skill levels, including Learner and Provisional licenced riders.
While fun is encouraged, safety is paramount. You should always ride within your skill set. Some rides will be posted as too technical for L&P riders and some will be posted as L&P friendly.
Group riding and networking with like-minded people is an amazing experience. We encourage all members to obey the road rules, wear full protective gear, ride in a sensible manner and turn up to rides with a full tank of fuel.
Our rides are well organised with a group leader, sweeper and corner markers. This will be explained on the day in the ride briefing just prior to stands up. There is also a more detailed explanation on this page.
Ride leaders are there to assist in having an enjoyable day out. This is done out of their own time and because of our love of riding. Sydney Social Riders, or its Ride Leaders, accept no responsibility for individual's safety or property. By participating in such ride, you the member agree to these terms & conditions. We offer these guidelines and tips to help ensure everyone has a great and memorable ride for all of the right reasons. We have put these guidelines together over time based on our experiences to make the overall group as safe as possible. To retain your membership, please ensure that you adhere to the above, attend rides regularly, respect others and have fun.
