Tappy Feet Adult Tap Dance Class - All levels Welcome!
What to Expect: Come try out tap dance in a safe setting, where we make mistakes together, celebrate successes together and learn how to make sounds with our feet - To a beat! We'll lend you some shoes to give it a try. $15 drop-in fee. Credit cards accepted. We have shoes you can borrow. Discounts Available: $12 per class for 10 class punch card $11 per class for 20 class punch card $10 per class for 30 class punch card *Punch cards are transferrable and they never expire, but they are non-refundable. Our class is not created to make you a You Tube Tap Dancing Sensation. While you will develop tap dance skills over time, the class is focused on having fun and working together. Also, learning new things when you're an adult can be frustrating and challenging because it makes us feel vulnerable. We believe that conquering that frustration or challenge with courage makes us better human beings, so give it a shot, and if it's hard, don't give up right away. You won't regret it. You can learn more about our non-traditional style classes and philosophy at What to Bring: Bring tap shoes, socks, clothes you can comfortably move in (we prefer that you wear these, not just bring them!), and a self-forgiving, not-taking-yourself-too-seriously, light-hearted attitude. Oh, and $10. :-) If you are borrowing tap shoes, please bring both thin socks and thick socks, in case a pair fits slightly snug or just a little too big. We often find that people are in between sizes, but can make a pair work comfortably with the right sock options. Where to find us inside the Stanley Marketplace: From the North Entrance (same side as the entrance to OPENAir Academy), we have a private door to the dance studio from the Neighborhood Music Stapleton patio. Or you can enter the main entrance on this side of the building, and then take an immediate right into Neighborhood Music Stapleton. We are at the end of the hallway. From the South Entrance (by Logan House Coffee Co), walk down the hallway directly in front of you when you enter - you should see Zero Market on your right. Continue past the next hallway (do not turn down it). We will be on your left just before you exit the building.

What we're about

For Denver adults who need to tap out of adulting and who want more happiness in their lives, our tap dance classes provide an hour of percussive playtime for adults that quietly strengthens resiliency through physical and mental health, courage, and creativity.

Tappy Feet is a movement. Our innovative way to teach tap intentionally makes people laugh, helps adults work creatively with other adults and discover (or re-discover) their love for rhythm and percussion, and brings out their inner courageous bad ass.

We’ll lend you some tap shoes to give it a try!

All levels welcome, including those who have never even seen a tap shoe.
We have tap shoes in various sizes for you to give the class a try - no cost for borrowing tap shoes during class.
$10 drop in fee, cash or cards accepted.
Multiple class times and locations. Check out our schedule here on Meet Up or at (
