The 'Burbs Social Networking Club is a meetup group that organizes social activities where you can meet up with other like-minded people in the West-End of Ottawa [Kanata, Stittsville, Nepean, Barrhaven, Manotick, Carp, Carleton Place, Perth, Almonte, etc.].
We organize a wide range of fun community events for everyone from free events to corporate style events. We have presently over 1,500 members at the "Burbs.
Members of our social club are called the BFF: Burbs Fab Friends.

Hi- I'm starting this Meetup group, as I am new to the Nepean/Kanata/ Stittsville/Carleton Place/Manotick area a.k.a "the 'Burbs', and am bored with always meeting my buds downtown for dinner!! There are lots of dinner options closer to home- and many new places I'd like to try out!! I figure I can't be the only one sick of making the trek downtown for good eats :)
