  • Coffee and Chat: a WordPress get together

    Alforno Bakery & Cafe

It's officially summer break for the Meetup, but we thought some of us could get together and hang out – talk shop (or not!) and drink some coffee. :) We've reserved a table for 12 people at Alforno Bakery and Cafe. Seating is limited so please make sure you can actually come if you RSVP or change your RSVP if you're not able to (and make sure to indicate any guests!). Everyone will be responsible for their own food and drinks. **Since seating is limited, we reserve the right to remove people who chronically don’t show up to allow others to RSVP.**

  • WordPress YYC Contributor Day

    HustleCo Workspace

Welcome to our first local Contributor Day! This is a day to get together and help make WordPress better. You don't have to be a designer or developer, or have any technical training. The only requirement is the desire to help and an account on the make.wordpress.org Slack team. (More info about that: https://make.wordpress.org/chat/ ) We'll start the day with a brief introduction to each team and their needs. Then choose your team (if you haven't already), team up with others, pick a task and start working! It's basically a coworking day, but the project is WordPress. We are all there to support each other and have fun. ABSOLUTELY NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY! There are 18 teams available to contribute to: Core Design Mobile Accessibility Polyglots Support Documentation Themes Plugins Community Meta Training Test TV Marketing Hosting CLI Tide You can learn more about these teams and what their current needs are at https://make.wordpress.org/ A huge thank you to HustleCo for donating space for this event.
