What we’re about
We have many amazing small theatres right in our own town!
Please sign up for an upcoming show at our specially arranged ticket price, & we'll be in the lobby to welcome each of you on the night!
We support the best little independent theatres and also attend the bigger more well known theatres. Our friendly group comes together in the lobby to mingle before the show, or maybe meet for dinner. You can even take your drinks into the show oftentimes! We’ll usually sit as a group and have a have a post show chat - sometimes wth memers of the cast.
- No Theatre experience or savvy knowledge required! First timers are most welcome:)
- Non-profit group
Our objective is to provide a fun and enjoyable social theatre experience. Independent Theatre has very little funding and most performers and theatre venues operate at a loss or break even. This is also true of our group, we have some overhead costs, plus countless volunteer hours by our hosts. We pass along the best discount we can in our ticket prices.
- All ages/backgrounds/nationalities/sydneysiders/travellers/friends/singles & couples are all most welcome to join our events.
We have several shows per month on all different nights to suit different availablties. We attend a wide variety from drama to comedy, traditional to modern & also musicals. Suggestions are always welcome.
We look forward to showing you Sydney’s Fantastic Theatre scene!
Bryon & Maggy
Note: 7 DAY or more advance purchase of tickets is often required to ensure our group seats are reserved. So please Sign up Early, and put the date in your planner:) If you missed out on group tickets, you can always buy direct from the venue box office for a little more money and booking fee, and come join us.

See all- RUN RABBIT AND MELLON - double billThe Flight Path Theatre, Marrickville
Hi,
Come to one or both of the shows. Please indicate in the comments section which you will be attending.RUN RABBIT starts 7.00 approx 55 mins
by Victoria Abbott
directed by Kate McGill
Black Agnes holds out against a siege of 20,000 men in 1338, a bouffon Bunny rabbit with a strong NZ accent is locked out of her home with suspiciously autobiographical detail, the Placard scene from Love Actually keeps going off book and Victoria Abbott is just trying to walk home late at night without being interrupted. At first glance this is a historical comedy, but the interruptions start rolling in… Run Rabbit is a chaotic, hilarious, genre-busting, smash and grab solo show.

Life sucks. Doing it sober sucks even more.
Mal, a recovering drug addict, is at a crossroads in her recovery, dwelling on a traumatic accident in her past. In an attempt to understand what happened she reflects on how she and her best friend Abby got involved in the drug scene. Partying every weekend, dealing to support their habits and snorting any substance they can find; what starts off as a bit of fun, goes downhill quickly as the reality of drug abuse becomes irreparably clear to them. Can they reconcile their moments?
