If you would love to star in a photo shoot (no experience necessary), or are a creative who enjoys all things related to fashion, beauty, and portraiture, please join us!
We are photographers, models, hair/makeup artists, stylists and designers who meet in collaborative photo shoots for the joy of creating amazing images of people. The group is free and open to all.
Based in the North Carolina Triad, we meet periodically in Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point and surrounding areas.
Most photo shoot meetups focus on a selected style, theme, challenge, or a particular look requested by the model(s) of the day. Afterward, all photographers post three to five of their best images, which are free for use by all models, artists, stylists and designers who contributed to the shoot.

Everybody wins with photo shoot meetups:
• Volunteers starring in the shoot have the fun of being a model for a day, and receive amazing images of themselves, perhaps unlike any that they have seen before. Style and content of the images can feature what they love, such as dance, yoga, physique or fashion, or left to the team to come up with something particularly special or creative.
• Aspiring and professional models gain experience and expand their reach and marketability by adding new styles and looks to their portfolios.
• Student, hobbyist and professional photographers broaden their own portfolios as they learn new techniques and explore exciting projects different from what they typically do every day.
• Makeup artists, hair stylists and wardrobe/set stylists get the opportunity to exercise their craft and see their work captured in beautiful images that are valuable for display and marketing.
• Wardrobe/costume/accessory/fashion designers have a unique occasion to showcase and photograph their line of creations.

Unpaid, our efforts are collaborative for the love of the process. The intent is for many photo shoots to be no-cost or low-cost. There is also the opportunity to share the production costs of more elaborate shoots that require, for example, rental of special wardrobe/props, exclusive venue use, or the hiring of VIP guests, potentially allowing group members more lavish/exclusive/sophisticated photo shoots than they would otherwise likely afford or be able to pull together.
Whatever your interests, collectively our group can create in nearly every style/genre: beauty, fashion, fine art, traditional, environmental, glamour, dance, vintage, headshots, boudoir, lifestyle, Hollywood, maternity, street/urban, alternative, figure art, editorial, film noir, athletic/fitness--there are so many!!
