Uke-East was set up to provide a home for the ukulele players and enthusiasts of Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. The Club offers a range of groups and bands to suit all levels of experience. The Club offers a friendly and supportive environment to practice and improve your skills and to share your love of making music.

The Uke East Big Band monthly meetings are a fantastic opportunity for Uke East members to come together and practice fun and easy ukulele songs from the Uke East Big Band Songbooks. Great for beginners and experienced players, the Big Band regularly performs at local community festivals and events!

The Blue Mountains Ukulele Group invites you to enjoy the best fun you can have in the Blue Mountains in the summer... the Tenth Blue Mountains Ukulele Festival. Now a multi-award winning event, the 2019 Blue Mountains Ukulele Festival is being held in and around the iconic Carrington Hotel, 15-47 Katoomba Street, Katoomba NSW. The Festival is based in and around multiple venues at The Carrington Hotel, as well as extending to the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre for workshops and the famous Paragon Cafe for open mic sessions.
Join the festivities on Saturday 9th February as there will be performances from acts from across Australia and some guests from overseas too! There will also be workshops held for ukulele beginners through to advanced players throughout the day. FREE for the whole day. On Sunday 10th February there will be more performances as well as organised jams and strums for everyone to join in. Also FREE for the whole day.
This is your opportunity to enjoy some of Australia's best musicians, who also happen to play the ukulele, in the beautiful Blue Mountains.
