About us
Our mission is to share information about the art and science of photography and to educate our members and the general public to bring about a greater appreciation for the art of photography in the valley with an emphasis on the urban communities. The Valley Photo Center is a 501c3 not for profit corporation located on the mezzanine level of Tower Square at 1500 Main St. in Springfield MA. All of our gallery exhibits, receptions, and noon time programs are open to the general public and are free. We also want to offer photography workshops, trips, and shoots in various places of various subjects!

Judging is Open
Location not specified yetJudging has started on our February critique/contest. Please go to https://mycameraclub.com/valley-photo-center/contest/424/1/20674 to participate in the judging. Pease write a comment too. We’ll go over the photos at our meeting on Thursday 12February2026 al the Longmeadow Adult Center.
If you are 55+ you can attend the meeting at the Adult Center. Please stop at the front desk to check in. If you are younger you can still participate in the judging, score the images, make comments, and then read them after the contest closes.
Photos that score 80 or higher will receive a ribbon.
